Dr. Kevin Huang, DDS

Practice Owner

Dr. Huang was born in Toronto, Ontario, and received his training and dental degree from the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He also has a honours degree from the McMaster University Art & Science Programme. Dr. Huang is committed to offering gentle, skillful, comprehensive quality dentistry for each of his patients. As new and returning patients get to know him better, they will see that he strives to be an approachable and personable dentist. In addition to his dedication to dentistry, Dr. Huang likes to keep a balanced life. He enjoys being active, spending time with friends and family, and playing many sports. Dr. Huang has been involved with many charities, volunteering, and humanitarian projects both in the GTA community and abroad. He had the pleasure of spending several summers in Central and South America, providing medical and dental care to those who otherwise would not have access to such basic services. He believes that all of his professional and personal experiences have made him better able to serve his patients. Dr. Huang is looking forward to getting to know each of you. Dr. Yi-Chin Chiu, DMD

Associate Dentist

Growing up with a dentist as a father, Dr. Chiu always gravitated towards dentistry as a career. Dr. Chiu completed her undergraduate studies at Queen’s University and York University with Bachelor of Science Honors (BScH) in Life Sciences and Kinesiology respectively and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Dr. Chiu further advanced her education with an Advanced Education in Dentistry (AEGD) residency in 2015 at NYU Lutheran Medical Center and Metropolitan Family Health Network. She has been practicing as a general dentist since then. What she loves about dentistry is how she can combine her two loves, sciences, and the arts. Dr. Chiu enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry through numerous continuing education courses so she can offer the best treatment possible. Dr. Chiu’s goal is to offer quality comprehensive dentistry with compassion and care to patients of all ages. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and some Taiwanese. Dr. Chiu is looking forward to meeting all of you and providing excellent dental care for you and your family.

Dr. Roshanak Jalali (Dr. Roshi)

Associate Dentist

Dr. Roshanak Jalali, also known as Dr. Roshi, grew up in an international family and has lived all over the world. She earned her dental degree in Dubai in 2011 and later moved to Canada, where she became a licensed dentist in 2018. Since then, she has been practicing in both Ontario and British Columbia. Dr. Roshi is a certified provider of both Botox and Invisalign, and has a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including bridges, veneers, and smile makeovers. She’s also highly skilled in root canals and performs wisdom tooth extractions, combining technical precision with a gentle, reassuring touch. Patients often say she makes them feel calm, even those with dental anxiety. She’s passionate about learning and keeps up with the latest in dentistry by attending top seminars and lectures. She also takes part in the Annual Spring Meeting (ASM) every year to stay current with new technologies and treatment options. Dr. Roshi is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Iranian Dental Association and was formerly affiliated with the British College of Dental Surgeons. She’s in good standing with the RCDSO and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. Outside of the clinic, she’s a proud mom of two boys. She loves jogging, riding her Peloton, cooking for her family, and travelling—especially road trips through Europe. Italy and the French coast are at the top of her list. Friendly, skilled, and deeply committed to her patients’ comfort, Dr. Roshi’s goal is simple: to help every patient leave the clinic smiling with confidence.

Dr. Tamara Chau

Associate Dentist

Dr. Chau was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, where her passion for global health and helping others inspired her journey into healthcare. She completed her undergraduate studies in Global Health and International Development at the University of Toronto, and went on to earn a Master’s degree at McMaster University, further deepening her understanding of public health and patient care.

Wanting to combine her public health background with hands-on clinical care, Dr. Chau pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. Staying true to her commitment to community care, she had the privilege of serving patients in South London, Ontario at The Wright Clinic, where she provided compassionate, accessible dental care to a wide range of patients. This experience further strengthened her belief that everyone deserves high-quality, patient-centered dental care.

Beyond her work in the clinic, Dr. Chau also shared her knowledge and experience as an adjunct instructor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, where she enjoyed mentoring dental students and contributing to their growth as future professionals.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chau loves spending time with her family and friends, browsing antique shops for unique finds, and cruising around on her longboard — though she admits she often takes a tumble! These hobbies help her stay balanced, joyful, and refreshed.

Office Manager

Odaimy and Dr. Kevin Huang have been working together for 13 years. She started working in the dental field as a Dental Assistant level 2. She possesses over 17 years of experience providing excellent customer service to patients with different ethnocultural backgrounds. Odaimy is passionate about getting to know each of our patients and committed to making sure they received quality service from our staff. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality, and radiant smile. In her free time, Ody loves to cook, dine out, exercise, travel, and spend time outdoors with her son Miguel.

Mahema, with a background in dentistry and healthcare management education, now serves as the Health and Safety Coordinator at Casa Dental. In her current role, she is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and safety of patients and staff. Mahema's strong commitment to the clinic is deeply rooted in her belief that every individual, whether patient or team member, deserves the utmost care and protection. She takes great pride in the diligence and attentiveness our team and doctors provide, both individually and collectively. Ada has many years of experience in the dental field. She received her Dental Assistant Certificate from George Brown College while working in a dental office as an assistant and also as an office administrator. She is excited to be working for Dr. Kevin Huang and our amazing team in a newly renovated beautiful office. Afroz comes from a family of healthcare workers, is an internationally trained dentist, and has always shown a keen interest in working for people. After pursuing certification in Healthcare Management and Dental office administration from George Brown College with Honors, worked as a dental administrator for a couple of years and recently became a part of Casa Dental family. She strives to constantly commit herself towards her job duties and works her best to make each patient’s visit more convenient and hassle free. Her focus and dedication to her work help her to make the most of her opportunities with all devotion to meeting clients’ expectations. Apart from her practiced engagement, she loves to travel and explore new places, spending time with her loved ones and experimenting with new recipes.

Emma Ciocirlan, our Dental Receptionist and treatment coordinator, holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Waterloo. She furthered her education at Georgian College, completing Dental Assisting Level II in 2023. Emma is dedicated to delivering seamless care to patients and their families, working alongside our exceptional office team. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Emma enjoys travelling and embarking on adventures worldwide with loved ones. She is eager to welcome both new and returning patients to our office!

Joey is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. She enjoys providing optimal oral health care for her patients and is always putting in her best effort to meet patient’s satisfaction with every dental visit. Joey is constantly looking to set new goals and learn new things, both as an individual and as a dental hygienist. Sónia Gouveia

Dental Hygienist

Sónia has been providing dental hygiene services to Dr. Huang’s patients since 2018. She enjoys educating her patients about their treatment and about achieving their optimal level of oral health. Her primary goal is to make her patients as comfortable as possible, listen to their concerns and make sure to answer any questions they may have. Sónia holds a Degree from the University of Toronto (2001) and a Dental Hygiene Diploma from Georgian College (2003). In addition to her 17 years of experience in the dental field, she continues to participate in many continuing education courses to ensure that the care she provides to her patients is supported by the most current scientific evidence. When Sónia is not at the office, she is an avid cake decorator and enjoys baking, cooking, traveling with her 3 children.

Kathy is a registrant with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and graduated in Dental Hygiene with honours. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier smiles with a warm and friendly approach. Outside of work, she loves to travel, spend quality time with family and friends, and explore the outdoors with her husband and dog.

Maylin Viyella

Office Supervisor, Office / Sterilization Assistant

Maylin is now a member of the Dr. Kevin Huang dental office team. She is an internationally trained Dentist, with more than 15 years of experience, so she is very happy to be working in the same field, helping in the office in the sterilization area and also at the front desk, providing our patients with the best service during their stay at the office.

Lam Duong

Dental Assistant

Lam was born in Vietnam and came to Canada when she was 14 years old. She received her assistance certificate from Seneca College and upgraded to level II dental assistant from George Brown College in 2011. Throughout her career, Lam has enjoyed chairside assisting and meeting patients of all ages with different backgrounds. Besides working, she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking or just relaxing in the park. Lam's goal as a dental assistant is to continue upgrading to improve her skills so that she can provide a safe and relaxed experience for her patients during their dental treatments.

Simal Boudhankar

Dental Hygienist

Simal is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Dental Health in Mississauga. She is a foreign-trained dentist from Mumbai, India who obtained her Master of Philosophy degree with a thesis on anxiety in dental patients. She successfully ran her own dental clinic in India before immigrating to Canada in 2018. Simal is always striving to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and believes in establishing rapport, building strong relationships with clients, and providing quality dental hygiene services. When she’s not working, Simal likes to travel (she has been to over 21 countries!), dance (is a trained classical dancer), cook, hike and explore new cuisines across Toronto.
